Schedule Your First Appointment
To get started, you’ll book an initial consultation with our team. During this visit, we’ll learn about your orthodontic concerns and goals, assess your smile, and discuss your treatment options.
Fill Out the New Patient Form
After booking your consultation, you can complete our Dental & Medical Health History Form before your first appointment. Filling it out online in advance helps our team prepare for your visit.
The Consultation Process
The initial consultation process usually takes about an hour to complete, and will be led by one of our treatment coordinators. We look forward to meeting you!
Arrive & Get Settled
We recommend arriving about 10 minutes early to allow time to complete any necessary paperwork and get comfortable before your appointment.
When you arrive, a member of our front reception team will welcome you and help you get settled.
You can relax in our reception area while you wait, with refreshments available and games for younger patients to enjoy.
When it’s time for your appointment, we’ll guide you to a private consultation room where your visit can begin.
Assessment & Diagnostic Imaging
During your consultation, we’ll begin by discussing your concerns, goals, and what you hope to achieve through orthodontic treatment.
We’ll also take photos of your smile to document its starting point.
Next, your orthodontist will complete an exam and use diagnostic imaging to better understand your teeth, bite, and overall oral structures.
Our iTero™ scanner creates a 3D digital model of your teeth, which can be used to plan your treatment and design orthodontic appliances when needed.
iTero technology can also provide a digital simulation to help you visualize what your smile may look like after treatment.
Customized Treatment Plan
After your exam and imaging are complete, you’ll meet with our treatment coordinator to review the findings and discuss your orthodontic options.
We’ll take the time to answer your questions and explain how treatment can help address your concerns and goals.
Your orthodontist will use the information gathered during your consultation to develop a personalized treatment plan.
Together, your orthodontist and treatment coordinator will walk you through the recommended approach, including the type of treatment, expected timeline, and appointment schedule.
We’ll also review the financial details of your treatment, including your payment plan, insurance coverage, and available financing options.
Next Steps
Before your consultation ends, we’ll review the next steps for moving forward with treatment and help you schedule any upcoming appointments.
We’ll also take the time to answer your questions and provide the information you need to feel comfortable and confident about your orthodontic care.
We believe that understanding your treatment is an important part of the process.
Our goal is to make sure you feel informed, supported, and prepared throughout your orthodontic journey.
